Ongoing Support & Maintenance

You’ve got custom software that works, but businesses don’t stand still. New team members join, processes evolve, requirements shift. Your software needs to keep up.

You need software that works the way you work. I stick around to keep your system running smoothly and add features as you need them.

After Launch

Every project includes 60 days of free support after launch - bug fixes and technical support at no charge. After that, ongoing maintenance keeps your system secure and running smoothly.

What’s Included: $200/month

Hosting & server management – I handle server setup, monitoring, and maintenance

Security updates – Regular patches and updates to keep your system secure

Bug fixes – If something breaks, I fix it at no additional charge

Technical support – Email me when you need help. I respond, not a support bot

What’s NOT included: New features or changes to functionality. Those fall under feature development (see below).

Feature Development

As your business grows, you’ll want new capabilities. Two options:

Hourly

$150/hour

Billed monthly for actual time spent

10-Hour Pack

$1,250$1,500

Pre-pay and save $250

Common feature requests: adding new data fields, custom reports, workflow automation, user role management, third-party integrations, mobile optimization.

Who This Is For

Existing clients – If I built your system, ongoing support keeps it running smoothly

Inherited custom software – You have custom software from another developer who’s no longer available

Growing businesses – Your needs are evolving and you need a developer who understands your system

How It Works

Month-to-month – No long-term contract. Cancel anytime with no penalty.

Direct access – Email me directly when you need something. No ticketing system, no support queue.

Proactive maintenance – I monitor for issues and apply updates to prevent common problems

Feature roadmap – We can plan upcoming features and prioritize based on your business needs.

Why Ongoing Maintenance Matters

Software requires regular attention to stay secure and reliable:

Security patches – Vulnerabilities are discovered regularly and need to be addressed

Server updates – Hosting platforms release updates that need to be applied

Dependency updates – The libraries and frameworks your software uses need maintenance

Small fixes – Minor issues are easier to address early before they compound

Without regular maintenance, these tasks pile up and become more complex to handle later.
